2023 BC Building Code Update Training

Building & Plumbing $500 plus GST
Building Only (includes Energy) $450 plus GST (Recommended for BCABD members)
Plumbing Only $200 plus GST

Please Note: There will be two repeated offerings of a day and a half each.

• 1st Offering: Tuesday, November 21 (8:30am – 4:30pm) & Wednesday, November 22 (8:30am – 12:00pm) AGENDA

• 2nd Offering: Wednesday, November 22 (1:00pm – 4:30pm) & Thursday, November 23 (8:30am – 4:30pm) AGENDA

BOABC will be holding in-person code update training in November 2023 and online code update training courses will also be offered starting early 2024, click here for details.

The Province is preparing to adopt the next edition of the BC Building Code. Under the Building Act, code update training is mandatory for all qualified building and plumbing officials. All officials must complete this training by November 21, 2024, to maintain their qualifications. BCABD recommends all members keep up to date with all Building Code changes.
