Two-day Builder’s Breakfast: High Performance Building Envelopes and Step Code for Part 9 Homes

Building designers are invited to register for the Township of Langley’s free, two-day, in-person workshops: High Performance Building Envelope and Step Code for Part 9 Homes, held at the Langley Events Centre, in the Township of Langley from February 22nd to 23rd 2024. 

Municipalities across the region are regulating Step Code, including the Upper Steps and with that, new strategies can benefit builders, architects, developers, designers    and others in meeting and exceeding energy efficiency requirements while maintaining cost efficacy. Workshop attendees will learn holistic building envelope design and construction methods, have access to an array of envelope assembly mock-ups to inspect and ask questions about, and perform group design exercises with feedback directly from our highly qualified and experienced consultant, Hamid Heidarali, of Hamid Design Build. 

Continuing education credits are available, 4 credits per workshop.  Attendees will also be treated to a hot breakfast before the workshops begin.
